So, today I am 16 weeks. I can actually see my belly expanding as the weeks go by. I have been told that from this point on, I should start taking pictures as the baby's growth and development really start to pick up speed. I really enjoy logging onto BabyCenter.com every week to see what my little one looks like. This week, he/she is about 4.5 inches long and weighs approximately 3.5 oz. It's about the size of an avocado. I think it's funny how they compare babies to fruit! I am definately showing now and am still struggling with the body image thing, but that's ok, I know it's quite normal for first timers. So, that will be the last time I mention it. Chad is really starting to get excited now to have a little one around. I know that it's different for the guys because their experience is so much different than the womans. I think for him to have heard the heartbeat and see my tummy growing has made it more real for him. It's so cute! We have been really busy working on the house to prepare for selling. We finished this weekend and it looks amazing. I want to stay now! Our open house/garage sale is this Memorial Day weekend and I will let you all know how it went. I will also post some new pictures for you next week with my post. Until then...God Bless.

HI EMILY GIVE ME A CALL MY PHONE NUMBER IS 890 2807. ARE YOU SELLING YOUR HOUSE TO GET A BIGGER ONE? I LOVE YOU AND YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND OF COURSE THE SWEET BABY YOU ARE CARRYING.
Hey - don't you love it when someone leaves a comment and a phone number but no name? :-) It must be someone you know... Glad to see you posted! Yes, you are definitely showing now - isn't getting huge FUN? Wait - it gets way better. Wait until you can barely breathe or even worse, when you can hardly reach back to wipe your butt - or see your feet!! Just remember - it will all be worth it in the end. And you'll have to remind yourself of that a lot over the next 16 weeks! Love you and the bean, too.
Em, been meaning to do this (leave a comment) since Chad sent me the link but looks confusing to me. Hope this does work. I'm so excited for both you & Chad. This child is something you have prayed for for years. One more example of God's answer to prayers IN HIS TIME. Praise Him!!! And, you're feeling some movement now, what a joy. Makes it really real, huh? Our prayers are with you both over this crazy week-end you are about to enter. Wouldn't it be wonderful if it went as it did in Salem. No muss, no fuss!! Give that little bean a little pat from grandpa & grandma Cline, and hugs for both of you...Love you Mom
